Eating at Beechworth Bakery is just like heading back in time... to the good old days. Scrumptious cakes, pastries, pies, breads and rolls just like Nanna used to make. You'll be racing to get there, but in no hurry to leave.
All our pies are proudly made by our people, and individually crafted by skilled hands. The ingredients we use are simple, high quality and tasty, like the meat that comes from the butcher around the corner.
Our Beestings - large and small - are simply heaven on a plate. A sweet, melt-in-your-mouth bun lightly spread with apricot jam, filled with the creamiest custard, and topped with toffeed almonds. The only danger with our Beesting is that you might not be able to stop eating them. And just imagine a velvety baked custard encased in luscious shortbread pastry, filled to overflowing with fresh raspberries & blueberries, and topped with a rich glaze. Sounds good, doesn't it? Introducing yet another little taste sensation: our Snickerdoodle.
We like to think our bakeries are about as close as you'll ever get to time travel, while getting the best of both the old and the newworlds.

The Hibernian Hotel is located in the centre of Beechworth100m from the Post Office. It is family venue offering lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our menu offers traditional hotel food along with modern choices. We specialise in local wines, produce and a range of local and imported beers, tap beer is also available. The hotel has been renovated and offers clean, modern open spaces for you to enjoy. We can cater for a range of events, for any size group up to 120.
Accommodation: Our seven spacious accommodation apartments are well appointed all with queen size beds. We have three family apartments one on the ground floor and two by two storey, each with two bedrooms and a separate bathroom. There are four double apartments one on the second floor and the remaining on the ground floor. All our apartments have a kitchenette including microwave, fridge, tea & coffee and toast making facilities. You will also find heating, air-conditioning, television, DVD player, hair dryer, internet access and off street car parking.

The Historic Hotel Nicholas (originally the Aliance, formerly the Railway - 1857), allows you to indulge in good food and coffee or make a selection from our extensive wine list, featuring many from the local region. Enjoy the comfort of our dining spaces with open fires in the winter or a shady garden in the summer. We are open every day for lunch and dinner including Christmas Lunch. We regularly feature live entertainment.
The decor and facilities of the various dining areas at the Hotel Nicholas are ideal for weddings, parties, conferences and meetings. Our catering team takes pride in creating menus that meet your dining, catering and budgetary requirements. We can cater for small group luncheons for a dozen through to carefully planned weddings and gala-themed dinners up to 100! The Hotel Nicholas is equiped to cater for your function off-site if required.
